What a busy weekend we had here at
de*nada!
This weekend was
ReadySetDC's Fashion District, a fun-filled weekend of runway shows, designer meet and greets, and shopping!
On Friday night, ten local designers gathered for a Meet and Greet at The Dunes in Washington, D.C. The Meet and Greet was a chance for customers to meet the designers, ask them questions, and mingle. It was an intimate setting with soft music playing, friends chatting and sipping cocktails and just enjoying the night.
Saturday night was the runway fashion show featuring the designers' latest lines.
De*Nada was unfortunately unable to participate in the runway show this year but we heard it was amazing! The show was a fabulous first-hand way to see the garments and accessories in action.
Sunday afternoon was the shop event where customers could come snatch up all the must-have pieces they saw during the runway show. The shop was back at The Dunes, which is a beautiful, wood floor studio with big gorgeous windows that let in the bright, natural light. Friends, photographers, customers, and bloggers from all over the D.C. area came out to the shop event to see all the wonderful designs up close and personal. Photographers were snapping away with their cameras trying to capture the beauty of these designs on film. Bloggers chatted it up with designers, asking about their new lines and experience in the fashion industry. Customers were eager to try on and buy, buy, buy!
